Kickstarts don't always have happy ends!

While doing some researching on successful Kickstarter projects, I stumbled across an indepth report on one of the biggest hardware failures to date. The report was commissioned by Kickstarter themselves to find out what went wrong, but it goes to show that runaway successes aren't always a good thing.

I had been hoping to find some successful case studies to take a few tips from, and note a couple of good campaign formats to help my first attempt at crowd-funding. I hadn't specifically sought out examples of what not to do, but this article made such interesting reading that I thought I'd share the Zano story.

The original Zano Kickstarter campaign can be found here .
